Alto Alentejo is a region full of opportunities for Nature Tourism
One of the promotional phrases of this privileged territory is "We're Still a Secret" and there's really so much to discover.

Natural landscapes, fauna and flora, prehistoric testimonies, Roman heritage, medieval castles, gastronomy, carving wines, bouncing rivers, huge reservoirs and art spread throughout the region in its various forms, make this destination a surprise for those who visit and discover it for its tourism development activity.

Pedestrian Tourism Tourism has a perfect structure in Alto Alentejo with the "Alentejo Feel Nature" Pedestrian Path Network, an initiative of CIMAA - Inter-Municipal Community of Alto Alentejo in conjunction with the fifteen municipalities of the territory. In addition to these routes, there are also several others that are part of the Municipal Networks of Pedestrian Routes.

To make known this territory is organized a Fam-Trip National and an International Press-Trip.

Fam-Trip (meaning Familizarization Trip) is destined for national tour operators, with a strong specialization in Tourism of Pedestrian Tours and in Tourism of Nature.
