The
Hotel Monte Filipe is a modern and elegant accommodation unit
- 4 Star Hotel - built in 2012. It has 50 rooms equipped with
all amenities and is integrated in a rural environment, next
to the village of Alpalhão in Alto Alentejo. The name
of the hotel comes from the ancestral name of the hill where
it is located. Hotel Monte Filipe is the Promoter of the Festival,
in an unprecedented initiative to promote a destination by a
hotel unit.

Walking Festival is a registered trademark and original idea
of SAL Sistemas de Aire Livre. Considered in 2006, it only
had its first edition in Serra da Estrela in 2013, followed
by Sertã in 2014 and two editions in Alto Alentejo
in 2015. It will be refreshed and more complete in 2018 at
this event. SAL is a Tour Operator (RNAV5107) and Tourism
Animation Company (RNAAT 28/2003).

The
Regional Entity of Tourism of Alentejo and Ribatejo is the
Portuguese public institution with responsibility for organizing,
structuring and promoting tourism in the Alentejo (47 municipalities)
and Lezíria do Tejo (11 municipalities). He is responsible
for the management of the 365 Alentejo Ribatejo promotion
program, a joint initiative with Turismo de Portugal.

The
Regional Agency for Tourism Promotion of the Alentejo is
an associative entity constituted by the Regional Entity
of Tourism, by tourism companies of the different branches
of activity and by municipalities of Alentejo. Its exclusive
function is the promotion of tourism in the territory of
Alentejo, at the level of brands and tourist products, in
the international markets.

Alpalhão
is a Portuguese parish in the municipality of Nisa, in the
Alentejo region, with 34.16 km² and 1238 inhabitants
(2011). Its population density is 36.2 inhab / km². It
was the county seat between 1512 and 1855. The village is
famous for the quarry of gray granites widely used as decorative
stone and which gave rise to the famous Alpalhão Statuary
Art Gallery, results of three editions of the Alpalhão
Stone Biennials (2001, 2003). , 2005). It also has as points
of great interest the Chapel of the Lady of (A) Redonda, the
Toy Museum and to be the crossing point and end / start of
the Caminhos de Santiago stage.

Naturtejo
is the entity that manages and promotes the Naturtejo Geopark
of the Southern Meseta, UNESCO World Geopark, which includes
the municipalities of Castelo Branco, Idanha-a-Nova, Nisa,
Oleiros, Penamacor, Proença-a-Nova and Vila Velha.
